Montpellier in a Post

I  can’t believe my time in France is wrapping up! It’s been 7 months–the longest extended period I’ve ever been away from the US–which still feels like not quite enough. Among my experiences were many firsts like getting on a sailboat with 10 kids and eating frog legs.

On my last day of school we made tiny cupcakes and tried to spell words with alphabet sprinkles. Most of the kids just ended up writing their names followed by “is cool”, which is cool with me.

On my way out of the gate for the last time, there were a lot of goodbye hugs, bises, and farewell cards made by the kids. They were all super sweet and thoughtful, but then there were some that kind of made you go hmmmm.

I’ve got 3 more days here in Montpellier and I must say it feels weird to leave. This is far from a complete post, so I’ll write more soon, but for now I’ve got to pack!

A+
